The core functionality of MathSpace is designed with privacy-first architecture. All mathematical calculations, dimension inputs, formula derivations, and step-by-step evaluations run entirely within your web browser using client-side JavaScript.

2. Browser Local Storage

MathSpace utilizes your web browser's standard localStorage API to enhance your experience across sessions:

• Theme Preference (mathspace_theme): Saves whether you prefer Dark Mode or Light Mode.
• Calculation History (mathspace_history): Stores your recent calculations so you can easily reference previous equations in the slide-out history panel.
• Calculation Settings: Saves default preferences such as π precision (e.g. 3.14159 vs 22/7) and default units.

This data is stored purely on your personal device and can be cleared at any time directly through the "Clear History" button in the history drawer or via your web browser's cache settings.

3. Information We Collect Automatically (Log Files)

Like virtually all web hosts, our hosting servers may automatically collect standard non-identifying server log information when pages are requested. This includes:

• Internet Protocol (IP) address
• Browser type and operating system
• Internet Service Provider (ISP)
• Date, time, and referring/exit pages
• Pages visited and click patterns

This information is used exclusively to maintain site availability, analyze technical trends, diagnose server issues, and prevent malicious DDoS attacks. It is not linked to any personally identifiable information.
